A native of Raleigh, NC, the members of Raleigh Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. instilled in me the confidence to acknowledge and share my skills with others. As the members supported and encourage me through high school and at Fisk University, these leaders understood what was needed to develop and strengthen what others may not see in themselves.
My current experience as a dedicated leader has spanned over 29 years as a college student, graduate researcher and presenter, Special Agent Forensic Scientist with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, adjunct faculty member for four (4) post-secondary institutions, and a community advocate. As a school administrator for the Memphis Shelby County School system, I support 125 faculty and staff with targeted and appropriate professional development to ensure they enhance their skills and knowledge to become the most effective leader in their classrooms and community. I also recruit and hire potential teacher leaders that share the same vision of enabling all students to become productive citizens.

Within the sorority, I currently serve in the Memphis Alumnae Chapter as a Member of the Nominating Committee, Chair of E.M.B.O.D.I., and a Leadership, Excellence, Achievement and Development (L.E.A.D.) Mentor as well as Membership Intake Trainer and member of the Regional and National Investigations Team.
I am committed to the constructive development of our members and I want to nurture as well as promote opportunities for every Delta interested in pursuing a leadership position to do so with confidence. Expanding the G.O.L.D., the Gifted Open-minded Leaders for Delta, is the key to galvanizing the strengths of sorority members and encouraging my Sisters to seek the next level of personal and professional commitment and development within their chapters and the sorority. All that is needed is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to their destination.
I am a GUIDE to ensuring our dedicated and committed G.O.L.D. members reach their aspirations!
