Expanding the G.O.L.D.

My Vision

Roy T. Bennet once said, “It’s only after you’ve stepped outside your comfort zone that you begin to change, grow, and transform.”

My goal as a member of the Southern Region Nominating Committee is to empower Sorors to step outside their comfort zone into leadership roles.  I seek to work collaboratively with the Chair and the other three (3) Nominating Committee members to build upon best practices and lessons learned for slating a diverse, multi-generational group of candidates through on-going informational sessions over the course of the 2022-2024 biennium.

Motivate

Motivate Sorors to see their potentialities as leaders within the sorority, changing their mindset that they are either not ready or too shy to lead.

Recruit

Recruit Sorors to grow as individuals by being self-reflective and confident of their knowledge and skillsets that will add value to their chapters and the sorority.

Retain

Retain Sorors’ interests in moving forward within their chapters as well as on the regional and national levels, transforming them into dynamic leaders, professionally and personally.
